My goal is to make things that help you make things, and share a few of my own creations. Welcome to Dave Conrey Art & Design.

Why hold a phone and do nothing when you can hold a paint brush or scissors and make something?

Most mail clubs deliver product; something that's nice to look at, but then you're left with stuff you don't want to throw way, but don't know what to do with it once you're done.

Side Quest gives you a chance to make something cool with your own hands every month; a thing to hang onto or give out to friends and family.

BONUS! is that it will bring you joy, and change how you feel about yourself.

Get Into it

Most mail clubs offer fill their packages with a collection of pretty pictures, stickers, and other elements that are made for you to look at, but then what?

Side Quest is about your journey as much as it is mine. This is your opportunity to make something that will make you smile and fill your life with joy.

Custom Materials

The materials that you get with every edition of Side Quest are either hand sourced or hand made by me. All photos shared are taken by me or from fair use sources, and I have a strict No AI policy.

These kits are unique. You will never find these materials anywhere else without my name on them.

No Expectations

Nothing stops art from getting made faster than putting up obstacles right from the start. This is not about achieving a specifica outcome, but a way to relish in the journey.

We're in this to be curious, experiment, learn from the process, and come out the other side with a unique experience.

Side Quest FAQ

Each edition is unique, but what you can expect in every order is some combination of the following:

A mini-zine with harrowing tales of creativity from yours truly
An art postcard print
Materials for making your own art
Private video of me making art with the materials
Limited edition sticker(s)
Other surprise goodies (mini art, patches, buttons, gold doubloons?)

Each edition ships during the last week of each month. The US Postal Service is a fickle beast though, so expect a 3 to 5 business day arrival for deliveries in the continental US. For the rest of North America, expect 7 to 10 business days.

For anyone in GB, EU, or elsewhere in the world; the world being what it is; things can take several weeks.

Unfortunately, because of the perishable nature of the product, I cannot offer refunds.

If you are on a monthly plan, you can cancel anytime. Your original receipt should have a button to manage your membership.

This is why I've created multi-month plans, so you can buy in at different tiers to test the product.

100% right here in sunny Southern California, unless otherwise stated.

Shipping is free for US customers. For the rest of the world, shipping is pinned at $5.
